About Vivid Build
Vivid Build was founded by Tom Granger — a qualified carpenter turned Registered Builder with more than 15 years of hands-on experience in domestic construction across Melbourne.
Tom began his career on the tools, developing a deep technical understanding of how homes are actually built. That trade foundation shapes everything about the way Vivid Build operates, from how we read a set of drawings to how we manage subcontractors and solve problems on site. It also informs Tom’s particular passion for heritage homes; the kind of work that demands a builder who genuinely understands original materials, period details, and why they’re worth preserving.
We take on a limited number of projects at any one time. That’s a deliberate choice. Every client deserves Tom’s full attention – and that’s what they get, from the first conversation to the day we hand over the keys.
